Blepharoplasty in Madrid

Dr José Nieto continued his training as an oculoplastic surgery specialist at the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), completing an American fellowship programme in eyelid surgery after passing the US medical licensing examinations. He is also a member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS), a society reserved for surgeons with extensive experience and dedication to this highly specialised surgical field.

• It is a simple outpatient procedure, lasting between one and a half and three hours, which can even be carried out at the same time as other cosmetic procedures on the face.
• The patient does not need to stay in hospital after the procedure; they can go home a few hours after it has finished.
• The results are almost immediate and long-lasting.
• There are no scars visible to the naked eye. Micro-incisions are made in the crease of the eyelid to conceal them naturally.
• The post-operative recovery, which causes very little pain, allows patients to resume their normal lives within a few days.

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the appearance of the eyes. To achieve this, different procedures can be performed depending on each patient’s needs:

• Upper blepharoplasty focuses on treating excess skin and, in some cases, fat deposits in the upper eyelid.
• Lower blepharoplasty is usually aimed at removing under-eye bags, using different techniques depending on each case. In some situations, it may also involve tightening the eyelid when there is significant laxity.
• Endoscopic brow lift is another surgical procedure that can be performed on its own or, more commonly, combined with blepharoplasty.

In summary, blepharoplasty is a facial rejuvenation treatment that brings greater vitality to your eyes and overall appearance, helping you achieve a younger and healthier look while always maintaining a natural result.

Our goal is to restore the appearance your eyes had years ago, not to create a different look.

Every year, thousands of people undergo blepharoplasty surgery in Madrid.

The success of this facial surgery is partly based on establishing a strong relationship between the patient and the surgeon. This involves a thorough patient assessment and a clear, honest explanation of the available options and expected results.

In fact, in order to find a specialist who offers this type of personalised approach rather than a simple, impersonal consultation, more and more people search online for “blepharoplasty Madrid” and read reviews from patients about specialised clinics and their professionals.

Dr José Nieto is recognised as one of the leading professionals in this field in Spain. When discussing blepharoplasty in Madrid, his name is closely associated with this highly specialised procedure, as there are relatively few specialists dedicated exclusively to this type of surgery.

If you live in the Madrid region, you can undergo this treatment at one of the city’s specialised clinics. If you live elsewhere in Spain, we can help you organise the process to minimise the number of trips required for your treatment.
